Ariel's Flow Tools

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, hosted with GitHub Pages.

Ariel’s Flow Tools is a self-initiated suite of lightweight productivity tools designed to support focus, time-blocking, and work visibility. Built as simple browser-based tools and hosted through GitHub Pages, the collection includes session timers, Pomodoro-style break support, task framing, and a team availability indicator. The project reflects my interest in turning everyday workflow friction into practical, accessible digital tools.

Magic-Mirror

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub Pages, Raspberry Pi, kiosk mode, weather API, Notion, shared calendar integration.

Magic Mirror was a custom-built smart display designed to solve household organization pain points before commercial options like Skylight were commonplace. The physical build used a TV, special mirrored glass, and a custom poplar frame built by my husband, while I owned the digital system end-to-end. I programmed a dynamic default page using GitHub and ran it on a Raspberry Pi, eventually configuring the device in kiosk mode so it could rotate through shared calendars and a Notion page I could update remotely without touching the device itself.

The display also pulled live weather through an API, and I manually programmed custom language to turn the forecast into practical household prompts, such as whether to bring a jacket, use sunscreen, or prepare for rain. The result was a fully custom, subscription-free information hub with no required upgrades, no locked ecosystem, and complete control over the interface and content.
